Spotlight Session: Dash and Miller

So as you know at AGT (and just in case you didn’t), we are all about ensuring that we know exactly where the materials and fabrics that we use come from. So what better place to go to than Dash and Miller, Bristol’s very own bespoke weave designers and makers. A little while ago we took a little adventure to the factory in St. Philips and were shown around by Laylah

who told us all about how it started. Dash and Miller was born in 2009 and moved into the beautiful Victorian schoolhouse in central Bristol, which they now called home, in 2012. Juliet Bailey and Franki Brewer are the brains behind the business and came together to create a unique approach to textile design. Both women have an vast background of experience and alongside the rest of their team are creating some incredible fabrics.

All the textiles incorporate experimental weave structures, yarn combinations and colour schemes and are made on handlooms in their studios. Dash and Miller are really leading the way for ‘Made in Britain’ fashion having collaborated with the likes of Bottega Veneta, Pringle of Scotland, DAKS, Topshop and M&S. To say we were in fabric and yarn heaven would be the biggest understatement. Keep your eyes peeled for some beautiful fabrics in the new collection! Check out Dash and Miller at
