As we kick back and settle in with a new favourite book between the over-indulgence of Christmas and the New Year parties to come, we take a look back over 2016 at Annabel Giraud-Telme. In the past year we have made several exciting leaps to get to where we are today. Here are a few of our highlights:
-Annabel Giraud-Telme’s atelier was created after acquiring a new space (and several weeks of wallpapering!)
-Creating bespoke commissions for amazing customers.
-Teaching students at the University of Creative Arts.
-Gaining a place at the School for Social Entrepreneurs.
-And finally transforming into a fully fledged company! By successfully securing funding Annabel Giraud-Telme has been able to take on a team in preparation for our ready to wear collection, which we cannot wait to present in a few months.
Annabel Giraud-Telme is an ethical and sustainable fashion house with big visions, and we are doing all we can to care for the world and people around us, as it becomes an increasingly pressing issue in our day to day lives. Although the fashion industry is well known to be the second most polluting industry in the world, it is not all negative news. There are visible marks of change; from the continuing strength of the Copenhagen Summit to the #whomadeyourclothes campaign created by Fashion Revolution. A revolution is indeed on its way! 2016 has indeed been a year of amazing transformation and we are so thankful for everything. We cannot wait to see what next year holds, but we are certain of one thing: velour is set to stay.
